Interview
The interview process was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I had a one-on-one call with the Founder, who displayed a defensive and hostile attitude. When I asked about the design team structure and workload—reasonable questions for any candidate—I was shut down and told that everything was under NDA, even though the company had no public presence on LinkedIn.
Instead of engaging in a two-way conversation, the Founder kept interrogating me, asking personal and invasive questions such as what my family does for a living. I was also asked why I applied to other companies like Tencent or Blizzard, and why I didn’t only apply to theirs. I wasn’t given a chance to ask questions, and the conversation felt like an interrogation rather than a mutual evaluation. Overall, the experience was disappointing, disrespectful, and left a poor impression of the company’s culture.
