This could be one of the most confusion and disorganized interviews I have witnessed at this career level. The first interview was with a recruiter and the scheduling was spotty and inconsistent. When I finally called the recruiter, she was very disorganized, wasn't even sure what the position was or the requirements or the next steps. She actually continued to talk to people in the background while trying to interview me. The questions were very basic since I seemed to be in the way of her personal conversations.
At the end of it, I was moved forward to meet with the director. During this interview, it was more organized and on time. However a second person was invited and I was never really introduced to her or her role. I was not given any contact information for either of them but the interviewed seemed to go very well. At the end of the interview, I was told the next steps would be another video interview or an offer. They were not sure of the next steps but I would be informed in the next day or 2.
I waited 3 days and reached out to the recruiter to follow up. I asked for the information of the two I met with and she told me that she is not able to hand that out and she will follow up. I followed up 3 more times and have never heard anything back.
A simple rejection letter would even be welcomed but this place is so disorganized and unprofessional that I honestly did not expect one. From what I have heard and read in the news, it's a blessing in disguise since they recently merged with 2 other companies and are in disarray with multiple layoffs, cutbacks, salary restrictions, and mass confusion on their overall direction and staffing needs.
