- 4 rounds of interviews spanning 4 hours: HR screen, technical screen, personality interview, technical deep-dive interview. Very time-consuming process.
- Lots of repetition/overlap, especially across the technical screen and deep-dive interview. It was frustrating being repeatedly asked the same questions.
- The technical interviews were completely focused on what I could offer the company. The technical interviewers made very little effort to 'sell' the role and the company; how I might contribute, what I might learn, etc.
- I'd previously worked with about 90% of their technology stack, would have learned the rest very quickly. However, because of this 'deficit' (and despite years of relevant experience and a wide range of other skills), the company offered me a more junior role to the one that I interviewed for! I declined their offer.
- Overall, if you're a very experienced engineer, I wouldn't recommend applying to Globalization Partners.
