I was contacted by the regional manager and interviewed over the phone very briefly. He asked several questions about pay rate, and pay rate only. He clearly read my resume which disclosed my previous salary range and I clearly explained to him that I was Not interested in working for free or donating my time. He then asked if I would like to interview in person, which I agreed too , and we were going to discuss the operation over lunch/brunch once I met him on location.
I received a call from him about a half hour before the interview, and he said things had changed, and he wasn't able to meet for lunch, and I was to meet him at the airport. Once I arrived, and introduced myself we sat in a public area near ticketing and I listened very closely to him talk about himself. This went on and on and on. For more than 45mins he described himself, over and over.
It wasn't a interview, it was a speech.
By the way, I was only asked three questions, two of which were about the salary range, and the other was if I was a veteran, then he insisted he never agreed to more than a figure that was so low I never would have even showed up.
It was a complete waste of time period....!!!
