I was contacted by an HR Recruiter from GCG Financial through LinkedIn. We exchanged a few emails and then I had a phone interview with the HR Recruiter. She was very friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. I was then asked to take a personality test, which is common for my position. Once that was completed, I was asked to meet with the department manager for an interview. The interview was very relaxed and I found myself feeling very comfortable with the manager. She was honest about the position and the expectations. I left feeling confident, but not sure if I would hear back from them. After about a month I received a call with a job offer from the HR Recruiter. Prior to my start date, I was invited to lunch to with my new Manager and the HR Director. I also received a welcome card from my Manager and my fellow co-workers prior to my start date. This included a welcome gift as well. On my first day I had a welcome basket full of goodies waiting for me. The entire atmosphere is full kindness and team spirit. I absolutely made the right move by joining the team at GCG Financial.
