Interview
Applied for a position and was contacted by an internal recruiter a few days later and a call was scheduled with the hiring manager. The hiring manager indicated that he wanted to make a decision within a few weeks. I didn't hear anything for several weeks then got a call to schedule an interview with someone else. A few more weeks went by then another phone interview. Finally, 3 months later I had an in-person interview in Anchorage and ended up speaking to 7 different people over the course of several days. After another month and several emails inquiring about the status I finally received an email back that they had gone with an internal candidate.

How do you think you'd adjust to living in Alaska?
The interview was extremely technical. Two people interviewed me. One of them didn't talk at all, was just typing on the computer the whole time.
Very awkward interview, it felt like a test on PMBOK concepts. It was straight questions for about an hour.
Didn't ask me anything about my previous experience or more behavioral questions. It was purely technical.
Called by recruiter. We did a phone screen. He said I would hear back by the end of the week. He left me a message and when I called back he ghosted me.

A leadership committee of three interviewed me for about an hour. Questions were a mix of hypothetical situations, company oriented questions, and leadership style / personality and how they applied to past experiences.
