I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at GE (Leicester, England) in Apr 2015
Interview
Talked about experiences gained from University relevant to role. Gave examples of how I would handle certain scenarios. Several technical questions on my knowledge of engineering principles. Provided a current intern to discuss the job role from a personal perspective.
The people I came in contact in were rather friendly and made the interview process easier. Discussing the role with an intern gave a great insight into the job.
Organisation of interview was poor by the company, initial interviewer was too busy with other problems. First actual interviewer left half way through and I was handed over to another, then final interviewer also left and was left with intern. After discussion with intern there was no opportunity to ask the employer questions.

Question 1
Basic mechanical interview questions not too difficult
The interviews were fairly straight forward, outside of an in person exam. Phone interview, in person interview round robin style, mechanical aptitude test related to field, follow up review/interview (final stage).

Question 1
All questions related to the position in one form or another. Essentially trying to determine if you are who you said you were on your resume.
It was an AI interview which consisted general situational questions such as a time where you was resourceful. Was a normal experience as you would expect since it was AI.
