I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GE (Singapore) in Apr 2015
Interview
The entire Interview Process was smooth and well coordinated. I submitted my online application through the company website and I received a call from HR exactly one week after. The phone call lasted half an hour. They asked basic questions regarding my resume, career goals and why I was interested in the program. Few days later I got called for the assessment centre. The Assessment Centre comprised of three sections. An accounting quiz, group case study-presentation and a face to face interview with one or two Finance Managers from various industrial segments. The accounting quiz required us to solve a P&L statement which is extremely easy for those students who have finance and accounting backgrounds. The case study was sales and marketing based. Finance managers and HR observed the group discussion and then assessed us on our presentation. Personally the one on one interview was the most challenging for me because they really grilled me about my career goals. They did not sugar coat the job scope to me and specifically stated that this was going to be more of an accounting based job which involves a lot of tedious data crunching work. What I really appreciated from the overall interview process was that HR made a big effort to explain the vision of the company and the employees were extremely approachable and friendly. Overall I was content with the interview and was offered an internship position the next day itself.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at GE in Mar 2019
Interview
Process was easy. I was referred by a current employee which helped a lot. I wasn't sure if I wanted to work here but woman in HR was nice and thought it would be a good experience. Phone interview was most behavioral questions and reviewing my resume. A few technical questions about excel skills but other than that pretty simple. Was offered a job a few days later
