Question 1
How to handle situation where there is difficulty in delivering a task on time?
ONE ROUND HR INTERVIEW , its in arabic except introduction , it stayed about 15 to 20 min. Questions was about your self , why you need to leave your job ? Abd why you need to work in GE ?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at GE Vernova in Apr 2026
Interview
Starting with the TA who was supposed to schedule the interview: first she asked for preferred time of interview, then I received email with Teams link at the preferred time. When no one joined 5-6 mins after the scheduled time, I gave her a call to check. The response was: "That is an automated email, it doesn't mean interview is confirmed". Seriously ? An email with a teams link needs further confirmation? Our entire family had to rearrange their schedules for this childish lapse from such a "reputed" company and she was totally unapologetic and totally nonchalant about it.
Then she proceeded to schedule the interview without checking my preferred time. When I called her back to request a different time, response this time: "Interviewers are not available other than this time, other interviews are happening so you might lose out". Once again, Really ? Job postings are filled based on who can attend interviews early ?
Interview itself was ok, but no update for a week from the company on outcome - again showing minimal regard for candidates once they get what they need
