I applied online. I interviewed at GEICO (Washington, DC) in Jan 2017
Interview
The first steps of the process consisted of a questionnaire, phone interview with a recruiter, HireVue video interview and then a personality test. These steps happened very quickly of each other (within 4-5 days). I got a call back within 24 hours of submitting the personality test asking if I would come to the DC corporate office to interview in 10 days. They flew me to the office and paid all expenses. I interviewed with a VP, ELP manager and talked with people in the program. I got a call back 3 days later that they'd like to set up an interview in my top picked regional office for a month after the corporate interview. Again, they paid flights/rental car/expenses to get me to the regional office. In that interview I talked to several managers, ELP people from previous years and did the final interview with 3 VPs in the office. Everyone was VERY friendly and professional through the whole process. Emails were returned within 24 hours (or less) and any questions were answered very quickly. I enjoyed talking to everyone I met and they all seemed to enjoy working for GEICO.
I got the first interview through college recruiting. Once that was over, I was sent some forms and quizzes to complete. I was then called onsite, where I had in-person interviews. After this, I was sent an offer.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GEICO (Washington, DC) in Nov 2019
Interview
I had a phone screening initially, then I had to take a personal assessment which was frustrating and long. I was not sure why we had to take that. After that, I was invited out to the HQ in DC and they have paid for my trip there.
