HR reaches out with a form you fill out about why Geico and questions like that (basically a phone screen on paper). Then you do a phone interview with the team leader/hiring manager who gives you a simple case study (how would you approach this business problem?) and some basic questions about you. If all goes well, they'll fly you out to interview onsite. There were two panel interviews with what I presume to be job-related tasks, an Excel assessment, and then a lunch interview. Sprinkled within the interviews are things like interpret this graph, why are we seeing these trends, and explain why you think this is happening. The Excel assessment deals with rate of growth calculations and writing a short summary of what is happening with the information you're seeing/sales data. The interviews revolve around some basic behavioral questions (strengths and weaknesses) as well as coursework and resume questions of how they apply to the position. They seemed to focus on your presentation experience because you'd be presenting to management. Some of the interviewer's questions didn't seem too thoughtful which put me off about my experience (see below). I also got the sense that everyone sorta stumbled into their position there and just went with it.
