Interview
It is a drawn out process and they cannot confirm where you will actually be working. One day they tell you it's remote, the next they say it isn't. You interview with 3-4 people and throughout have to do multiple ability tests and questionnaires that contain the EXACT SAME questions and situations/simulations. The final part of the process is a video interview, in my case, they set up the interview only hours in advance and the interviewer couldn't work the video chat so I was staring at myself the entire time. I felt that was pretty unprofessional. She seemed fixated on the fact that I currently work in a different industry to insurance and the question "how have you persuaded someone to do something" felt a bit creepy and implied I was interviewing for a sales job, which I wasn't. I think each interviewer could benefit from coming up with more creative questions that apply to the job at hand and a better description of the role and hiring process. An entry level position should not require so much redundancy.

Interview
This was a virtual interview. Most of it was the recruiter explaining the training program, benefits, and salary. She also went through my resume and we went through each job I have held since 2019. She also asked why I left each one and wanted me to explain any resume gaps, which I felt was unnecessary given how far back we were reviewing. Honestly, I walked away feeling like this was not the job for me because the salary was quite low ($20.42 per hour), they require weekend work following the program, and the recruiter was unable to answer any of my basic questions regarding company culture and growth opportunities within GEICO.
