I applied online. I interviewed at GEICO (Indianapolis, IN) in Jan 2021
Interview
I highly recommend anyone in the Indianapolis who wants to get into the insurance industry or into business management to look at other opportunities.
The Indianapolis hiring office gave me a call back on an application on LinkedIn, had me do lengthy performance and personality assessments, and asked that I go to their candidate portal to schedule a follow up phone interview. I was never able to do so and was also unable to get ahold of the hiring office by either phone or e-mail. The only communication I received after days of attempts to contact them was a notification that they had denied my application without even giving the interview I had qualified for. It is extremely frustrating to not even be allowed to advocate my candidacy, despite being given the expectation I would be allowed to do so. It is also unprofessional that I couldn't talk to a GEICO representative no matter when I called the office whilst they were open or sent a message to the email provided.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GEICO (Houston, TX) in Nov 2021
Interview
Quick turnaround, very courteous and accommodating. The entire staff was extremely informative and, though there are a lot of steps in the process, they adequately support candidates throughout. The turnaround was very quick in between interviews and assessments, so it was great from a logistical standpoint.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GEICO (San Diego, CA) in Mar 2021
Interview
A week later after submitting my resume and job application. I had a phone call interview. It was about 15 minutes. Very vague.. the recruiter explained the details about internship. Then, told that if selected, they will contact me to provide more details. Later the same day, they sent an email saying that I was not selected to move to the next stage of the recruiting process.
