I had no background in insurance before this position. I took an online test which evaluated personality, temperament, and ideas about work. After this step, I was invited to take a 30 minute phone interview. Overall, the questions were typical of those you might expect in any job interview, "Why GEICO," "Why insurance," etc.. At the end of the phone interview my interviewer promptly scheduled me for another interview over Webex video call. This interview was with a different interviewer, and was approximately 35-40 minutes in length. While a good amount of the interview questions were a rehash of the phone interview, there were a few scenario type questions that were new. I.e. dealing with a claimant who is upset or derogatory toward you, how do you handle it? Overall, I didn't consider it too challenging, as long as you do some prep and consider what your answers would be to the classic job interview questions, you should be well prepared.
