I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at GEICO in Jul 2010
Interview
Applied online, received an email response to set up an initial 10 minute phone interview. Basic questions about whether or not I had applied or worked for Geico before. What the position's starting pay & hours would be and if those were acceptable to me. Lightly touched on past work experience and reasons for leaving. Also inquired as to my attendance record with most recent employer - they seem to want a "never missed a day & never late to work" answer here...which was an easy answer for me to give. Was told that during training any absence or lateness results in termination. At the end of the phone interview I was emailed a document outlining all of the interview steps and scheduled for the skills/computer testing at the end of the week. Phone interviewer was very pleasant and easy to respond to.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What was your reason for leaving (you most recent job)?
There are two rounds. The first round is virtual and they ask about your background and if you can handle the process. For the second-round, You will shadow someone for 20 minutes then proceed for a 40 minute interview. There are a lot of situational questions.

Interview
You first fill out an assessment test. The assessment test isn't difficult; there are a few parts to it. First is the reading tables section. It asks you a question about the table and based on that you pick one of the four answers. This part is timed so you want to pace yourself a little bit. The other part is picking the statement that describes you the best, then the second-best statement out of three statements. Overall, this did not take long.
