The first person who had come for interviewing me was very rude and tired, He told me that ,”If you are going to work for me you have to be very crisp at the start of interview. This created lot of negativity inside me which I tried to overcome but it didn’t work well. He didn’t look at my resume earlier, he read that in front of me.He told me that “it looks like you have lot development experience ,let me check for Engg Manager Position”.I didn't apply for Engg Manager, so please don't tell me for something which I didn’t applied for.
Second Question:Do you know the JD?
Ans: I replied, whatever I remember at that point, He was again very quick.He replied “It is partially correct”. It was really tough to remember JD word by word.
Third Question: Do you have supply Chain Management Exp. What is SCM?
Ans: I have exp, but that was 2005 and I was developer at that time.
Throughout the interview process, he was very rude. In the very first feedback he told me that you providing me too much detail.
I was upset and nervous because of the first round and as a result of which I didn’t perform well in second round as well.
This is not my failure, this is the failure of process of setting up interview with a person who was not in invite list which I received from recruiter.
Advice for Management – I was never going to join a company which have these kind of people in leadership. If you are unable to manage interview please don’t schedule. It wastes lot of time and energy of person. In my case I took the day off from office, because it was mention that duration was 2 to 5. It all seemed much mismanaged and unprofessional to me.This was not my first rejection but this was my first frustration from any interview.
