I applied online. I interviewed at GIC in Jul 2024
Interview
The interview is pretty straight, I was given a codility problem.
I solved everything and wrote E2E test cases. 110% documentation. Code comments etc. All guidelines were followed. I covered Edge cases as well. Spent almost 3 days and nights and a weekend to get it ready, as I was extremely busy with my regular work as well.
After a few days got a response from the coordinator that I didn't clear the round and a generic that the assignment did not match the criteria.
I replied to the recruiter that the assignment is 100% per requirement and more. and I would need more details, specifically on the assignment failing to meet the criteria. Again, got a generic response stating functionality and other aspects did not meet my expectations.
But the expectations were 100% met. I replied with feedback to respect the candidate's time and dedication to the assignment and give them detailed feedback, maybe put 20 minutes into writing the email for people who have spent days working on that assignment.

1st Phone screening first, then 2nd Hackerrank followed by face to face rounds with the hiring managers. 3rd round is technical round with hiring teams (may be more than 1) and 4th is with the director
