First stage was a 30 minute telephone call with the head of HR - quite typical questions eg talk me through your CV, what is the GLG business model, what do GLG do, how do they compare with their competitors like AlphaSights, Coleman Research and Guidepoint, what do you think your role will consist of. I was immediately invited to come interview at the office, which consisted of talking to three managers for about 45 minutes each. The first interviewer completely threw me off, as he began to ask me very financially focused questions which I had not encountered before since I do not have that background. The other two interviewers were quite nice, and asked very similar questions. However, I was told I'd be hearing back by the end of the week (my interview was on a Tuesday), and it has now been two weeks. I have sent emails to HR, and have not had a response. If I was rejected for the job, I'd expect at least a reply, and some feedback as well, by now.
