I applied online. I interviewed at GLG (London, England)
Interview
Basic telephonic interview with the firm's HR, followed by in-office interviews with 3 managers from different teams. Questions based on CV and around GLG's model, a couple of case studies testing your ability to talk to industry experts. If you are successful, they give you a case study to do from home as next round; the case study requires identifying potential experts. The final round was again in-office interviews with 4 more managers--not so difficult, more around your eagerness to join the company and about the role.
Got rejected after the last round through email, was given a vague reason. Emails on detailed feedback ignored, despite offering to discuss in detail in the rejection email. The process took about 4 long months--super slow HR/managers.

How will you convince ex-CEO of a company to join as an industry expert.
HR screening, case studies with team lead, culture fit interview, then C-suite interview. People were nice case studies kinda threw me off but Expert Networking Companies are known for that. I could tell the workload would be insane. Respect for the employees.
4 step interview process along with case study and some technical tests. Huge emphasis on GLG knowledge. Fairly staight forward process. Quick as well. So all is good with the interview peocess
