The interview process started out well with a 30 min call with HR, then the second phase was a 30 min call with the hiring manager. Both were very nice. I was then sent a comprehensive assignment to complete within 5 business days. A week after submitting the assignment I received a generic "thanks but no thanks" automated email and no personalized feedback on the work I had submitted. This company seems to be using candidates to generate ideas for them, and don't seem to be honest about the hiring process. It's a shame because I was really excited about this opportunity.
