Three steps in total, first HR interview, then 1-hour interview with a senior data scientist and finally a full interview day with a scheduled presentation. During the day, I met scientists from different sites and in different roles (not only data scientists but also senior managers and laboratory scientists)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Question on on-the-job activities and on past experiences, for example:
- tell me more about what you have done when you were...
- what would you do with these kind of data?
Two rounds, one hour each. Both were a combination of technical and competency questions, nothing too demanding. First round with potential line manager, second round with a panel from the team.
