      I interviewed at Gametime United

      Interview

I interviewed for the growth marketing user acquisition role and I’ve never had such a weird interview process. I went through two rounds, each 30 min long with the recruiter and hiring manager. Both felt odd in the same way as they both joined 3-5 minutes late (decent for a 30 min interview) and joined with no acknowledgement of being late and then IMMEDIATELY launched into their own talk track about the role (no hi, no hello) for the next 5-7 minutes. It truly was so strange to just be talked at, definitely not a conversation. At this point it was about halfway through the 30 min time slot and then for the recruiter it at least got a bit better maybe 1-2 questions, but the hiring manager asked the longest questions with multiple parts like “tell me an example… then what were strengths and success and what KPIS” so you got lost and still felt just being talked at. after any response, hiring manager would say nothing, every single question. When it came to asking your own questions at the end, hiring manager seemed mad to be asked questions. It was giving “toxic work place and people hate it here” honestly was so relieved to get off the call by the end
