Interview
STAY AWAY! This was one of the worst experiences I have EVER had. I had met with two people for an HR position in their Supply Chain Management Division and I would not recommend joining this group. The hiring manager spent most of the time talking about himself, constantly interrupted me when I was speaking and was unable to provide any real context about the job. The other hiring manager was descent but subpar compared to other HR executives that I've engaged with in the past. I have yet to hear back about where I stand regarding my candidacy. Nonetheless, if they treat candidates this badly, I can't imagine how employees are treated. I can understand why Gap is doing so terribly from a profitability perspective; they have a dying and lackluster brand because they hire inept HR people who are suppose to support the business.
Gap Inc., You not only lost a viable candidate, you've lost a customer.
