I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Gap Inc. (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2020
Interview
Call with a recruiter followed by a call with a hiring manager. The interviewer seemed to be more interested in tricking me rather than following my thought process. He seems to be mad when I asked for follow-up questions to better understand the problem at hand. He seemed to be expecting me to know in details Gap business model and how Covid impacted them.
I finished the interview knowing that I wasn't a good fit. Another thing I found from this experience is that the technical screening shouldn't be conducted with the manager you may be reporting to. He seemed to be looking for 'mini me' rather than someone who might be qualified.
