Filled out application online. Was contacted a few days later by the recruiter to set up time for initial phone screening. About a week after that, was contacted again by the recruiter to set up time for a zoom interview with hiring manager. Was told would hear something back within the next week for next steps. Never was contacted again. No follow up from recruiter. After hearing nothing for 2 weeks, I cut my losses and moved on. If a candidate is taking time to interview, please at least be courteous and provide feedback or an update, even if you are deciding not to move forward with them. Even if this is not your intention, it causes a negative sentiment in candidates eyes and how they view your company and how they would be treated if they were to accept employment. I am surprised to have this experience based on the core values and the people centric organization Gap prides itself on.
