The interview process was terrible not lively or good. The place had no associate on the sales floor. There were people in store buying clothes so it was fairly busy with one girl in the fitting room. The assistant managers that interviewed us as a group read strictly from their questionaire, there was no interaction whatsoever. It was not lively at all. Both asked us a total of 7 questions. They shaked our hands and we left. I knew there was a 50% chance i was not really getting the job. It was the worst retail job interview I have attended, and I have actually worked in gap as of recently. I left the place and I got an automated response saying they have decided to look at other candidates but will keep my resume on file and I should apply for other jobs posted on their website. The response was within 30 minutes as I left. I just did not understand why they waste people time if they know there is a possibility that they won't be hired. I remember the assistant manager using the word "if we hire" you guys will get a call back in the middle of next week. Talk about b.s. this process has turned me off to gap and retail in general.
