Interview took place on the store floor with the assistant manager and lasted about 45 minutes.
First Part: In store observation task. Make notes about things you observe in different departments, e.g. denim types, product arrangement, merchandising etc followed by discussion with assistant manager on these observations and positives and negatives.
Second Part: General interview questions e.g. why Gap? Why you? How would you deal with staff dispute, e.g. of outstanding customer service etc.

How would you deal with a situation in which two members of staff have fallen out?
Group interview with other candidates with the store manager. Arrive at the store and wait for other candidates. Then interview happens in break room and it lasted roughly about 30-60minutes
It was a group interview of about 10-12 people. If I remember correctly they take you to the back, the stock room, and ask almost everyone the same question. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.
It was very easy, one in person interview with the general manager and then I was accepted! Mainly personality and behavioral questions were asked, and I think enthusiasm on my end helped the most.
