Interview
Super basic interview. Typical questions, now they do group interviews however. Just went in and had an informal on-floor interview. Then had a second sit-down interview to seal the deal. Initial Competency Test to weed out the "untrainables" and a very brief phone interview to start. All very simple retail specific. They really want to know if you're marketable to customers as a reliable salesperson. I had never interacted with customers before this job, just be presentable and friendly or competent and you'll be good to go.

"Can you make me an outfit for a guy/lady who's going (Insert Occasion)? (after making outfit) And describe why you chose the pieces you did."
Group interview with other candidates with the store manager. Arrive at the store and wait for other candidates. Then interview happens in break room and it lasted roughly about 30-60minutes
It was a group interview of about 10-12 people. If I remember correctly they take you to the back, the stock room, and ask almost everyone the same question. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.
It was very easy, one in person interview with the general manager and then I was accepted! Mainly personality and behavioral questions were asked, and I think enthusiasm on my end helped the most.
