Interview
I applied online and got a phone call two days later from the manager asking me to come in and interview. The interview was at a different location than the location I applied to work at. I had to drive over an hour to get to the interview location. The manager who interviewed me was super nice. The interview was a group interview, which I was unaware of. Although I was nervous about being interviewed in a group at first, the other two men who were in the group were even more nervous and kept fumbling. The process was fairly casual with fairly easy questions. They were mostly about how you got along with former employers and work mates and how well you worked in a group. At the end of the interview the manager each spoke to us one on one. He told me he thought I would be a great fit and needed to run my information through the system and he would contact me as soon as possible. The next day I got a call from him saying they would love to have me begin the job as soon as possible. The following day I went to the store for an orientation and got my schedule for that week! Extremely quick process.
Group interview with other candidates with the store manager. Arrive at the store and wait for other candidates. Then interview happens in break room and it lasted roughly about 30-60minutes
It was a group interview of about 10-12 people. If I remember correctly they take you to the back, the stock room, and ask almost everyone the same question. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.
It was very easy, one in person interview with the general manager and then I was accepted! Mainly personality and behavioral questions were asked, and I think enthusiasm on my end helped the most.
