Interview
I was sent an email letting me know the were interested in interviewing me, I had to send a date and time I coud do it, when I got there I was shocked. It was a group interview I had did for the first time. I hated it, you have to really sale yourself and be upfront and aggressive for the job. I had peopole answering over me and was not at ease when I left. I knew I would not get a job offer. Basically bad
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gap (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2010
Interview
The application online was very straightforward. I then made it to a first round phone interview. The phone interview consisted of several situational questions and reasons why I wanted to work for Gap as well as scenarios. I had a very good phone interview and moved on to the 2nd round which consisted of a project. This is how the following 2nd round interview proceeded.
I was a little taken back by the 2nd round interview with my recruiter. From the very beginning, I could feel some sort of tension. I noticed her yawning in the background and her eyes definitely was not reflective of how I view Gap as the proud retailer I know it to be. Every question she had for me felt like it was dripping with disdain. She had her arm up on the table supporting her head like she could care less to what I had to say. As the interview continued, I began to feel very uncomfortable and was unable to answer any of the questions to the best of my ability. It's surprising to have put so much time and effort into and interview and have it valued so little.
Not much to say after that.

Interview
I got a phone call a little less than a week after I applied online. 2 days later I had a group interview. It was very casual! The hiring manager was friendly and not intimidating. She asked questions like, if you had to explain the Gap style to a customer, what would you say? Give an example of a time you were in a stressful situation and how you dealt with it. Name a time where you set a goal. How did you reach it, and if you didn't reach it, what would you do different? It lasted about 30 minutes and there were 5 of us in there.
