They are supposed to have your cv in front of them, but my manager lost their copy of it. They ask you things like why you wanna work there, if you've worked by a till before, who's your style icon and then they will ask you to put an outfit together. In my case I was closest to the mens section so I made up an outfit for my dad.

I was interviewed at the GAP in the Bullring, Birmingham. We were greeted, however they were busy, so left us for a while to mingle. Afterwards, they brought upstairs to the children's section. We did a getting to know each other exercise whereby we stated our names and what we plan to do after school or what we were doing now. Easy. Afterwards they asked us to write down the good things about the shop, the bad things and what needs improving. And we shared our ideas together after 10 minutes. After this activities, we were given a scenario mine was mother has twins one boy, one girl , however likes to dress them identical pick out what they could wear for their birthday. After 10 minutes of picking clothes out in the store, we shared and explained our outfits.

Applied online from their Holiday Hiring Blitz and I got a phone call in an hour asking for an interview. Interview was two days later. I went to the store a little bit early and the manager took me to a bench in the mall. It was a really straight forward interview but he stopped to talk on his headset and even left to settle an issue. The only thing it seemed like he cared about was how many hours I could work. After 10 minutes, he said he was still looking at applications and he'd get back to me. I got a rejection email 4 days later.
