I interviewed first with the hiring managers and then with HR. Overall it was a quick and organized experienced and thought the interview questions were fair. The only thing that kind of bugged me was that although it was a C/C++ job, they were open to software engineers who specialize in other languages. I'm skeptical how true this actually was based on the type of C/C++ questions asked.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Garmin (Kansas City, KS)
Interview
First somebody from HR interviewed me on the phone. Then, the hiring manager interviewed me again on the phone. Later on I got invited for an onsite interview.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Garmin (Chandler, AZ) in Dec 2017
Interview
I applied online and first talked to a recruiter for a 30 minute interview. We went through my resume and some basic questions about interests, experience etc. Then, I got a call to setup an onsite a couple of weeks later. The onsite interview was not a very good experience. I interviewed with two engineers and they gave me an impression that they were not really looking to hire at all. That didn't make me feel comfortable and so it went downhill from the start. It never took off, and I wanted to leave the interview in the middle because there was no way I was going to get hired after it. I survived the hour and left knowing I wouldn't hear back from them. I didn't.
