Process: The entire process took around 3 weeks and consisted of four rounds.
1. Recruiter Screening (30 minutes): Discussed my background, previous projects, work authorization, and salary expectations.
2. Technical Round 1 (1 hour): Focused primarily on SQL and data analysis concepts. I was asked to write queries involving joins, window functions, aggregations, and discuss approaches to data validation and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
3. Technical Round 2 (1 hour): This round was more scenario-based. I was given a business problem involving declining user engagement and asked how I would define metrics, analyze data, and communicate findings to stakeholders. There were also questions on Python, dashboards, and A/B testing methodologies.
4. Hiring Manager Round (45 minutes): Discussed cross-functional collaboration, handling ambiguous requirements, prioritization, and examples of driving business impact using data.
