There are 3 rounds overall, first round will be on project, pyspark and sql. Second round is production scenarios, basics concepts and third round is with director which will be techno-managerial

They conducted two technical rounds of interviews with me over the course of three weeks. I was confident I had cleared both rounds, especially after the hiring manager personally mentioned that I was a strong fit based on my experience. However, the HR team kept me on hold as a backup candidate and later took down the job posting from the careers page. Despite multiple follow-ups over the phone, I received no response. It was only after sending a formal feedback email that I was informed they had decided to move ahead with a different candidate pool.
It's disheartening to see how some companies handle candidates—leaving them waiting without clear communication and ultimately wasting their time
