Holy moley, do you have five weeks-3 months to interview? 5-6 interviews total 3 of which are totally unnecessary. If you have to go in for an "Invitational Day," good luck. Everything you do is watched. You get picked off like cattle and are asked to leave on a whim. Sometimes there are legitimate reasons and sometimes you're just sitting with the wrong group.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
typical behavioral questions and "tell me about a time when"
role play for two interviews
It was long and rigorous, often feeling extremely high pressure, with not a lot of constructive criticism. There are 5 rounds and each with a role-play. It's safe to say this is not an easy interview process. I'm not sure how they do their prospecting, but I was apparently a 'great fit' for the role - didn't show that enthusiasm during our calls.
Intensive - multiple rounds led by a recruiter. Expect 2 rounds of role play, around 4 rounds total. 2 with a recruiter, one with a lead skills expert and another panel with VPs and hiring managers.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Gartner in May 2026
Interview
30 minute phone call with recruiter. Next is 1 hour with recruiter about your background, behavioral questions. Then 1 hour with LSA with questions on your background and a role play.
