I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner in Aug 2015
Interview
Multiple calls and face to face meeting with manager. Also phone calls with manager's boss, and his boss. Also talked to another team member. Then final panel interview.
Panel was supposed to have everyone face to face, but only 1 person was face to face. The other 2 were on the phone. One on the phone was boss' boss, and the other was HR person.

Interview had 3 stages. the last one with your VP, you had to roleplay. Recruitment will prepare you thoroughly for the process. With some prep it is doable. very generic,
