I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gartner (Washington, DC) in Dec 2018
Interview
Brief phone interview with recruiter, then two hours of skype interviews with Gartner employees (one is behavioral, one is case). The behavioral interview was extremely odd -- the interviewers have a script they are forced to follow, which makes the whole thing feel extremely impersonal. Case interview is pretty easy. The entire process happens very quickly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The case was about buses and comparing the cost/benefit analysis of different types of buses.
Gartner’s intern selection process involves online application screening, an aptitude or technical assessment, followed by one or two interview rounds assessing skills, problem-solving, communication, and cultural fit before extending the final offer.
Three stage interview, all phone screens. Mostly behavioral questions with a few questions regarding technical capabilities, particularly focused on research experience as it relates to the role. I believe there were 4 rounds in total for this position.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Gartner (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Feb 2025
Interview
very draining, the interviewer seemed disinterested, had too many rounds (we had 4 rounds in a single day). the HR round was very vague, aptitude was difficult for an intern position.
