I got contacted in LinkedIn about this opportunity and had a phone screen a few days later. The phone interview was a good experience, the interviewer was very nice and helpful and we had a very nice chat about the role, my work experience and education etc. Next stage was a video interview which I had a negative experience with. Since the beginning, the interviewer was quite rude and it was hard to get the conversation flowing. The interviewer seemed dismissive of almost everything I said which made me feel uncomfortable and just very awkward the whole interview. I felt that everything I said was not "correct" and the whole time I just wanted the interview to be over already. Also, my interviewer in the first phone screen and then the video interview gave quite different impressions about the actual job. When I told in the video interview what I expected from the job, she told me she thinks I have the wrong impression of the job and she didn't think I knew what I was applying for. When it was time to do the role play, I almost already just ended the video call because I felt so uncomfortable and honestly did not even want the job anymore. However, being too polite I just tried to get over with the role play as quickly as possible. Afterward, she gave me feedback (which I really appreciated though, it's always great when you get feedback because not all interviewers do that and she had good points) and not surprisingly she told she did not think I was suitable for the role. But even if she thought since the beginning I was not suitable, I still expect the interviewer to be polite, not dismissive and just encouraging because I don't think interview situation is the most comfortable situation for anyone, especially when you are applying for a graduate role and do not have that much interview experience yet.
