I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2022
Interview
1st interview - 30 min. conversation with recruiter, general get-to-know you style. Background on job and yourself.
2nd interview - 45 min. More formal in-depth convo with same recruiter about materials and information on the company. Mock discovery sales conversation, mostly looking at the questions I am able to ask. (1-3 hour prep time for this call)
3rd interview - 1 hour. Skills Assessor Recruiter. Identical layout to 2nd interview, just dives in deeper to skills possessed and how they fit into the role. STAR method crucial. Mock sales call, come prepared with leading questions and be able to ask 2nd and 3rd degree questions. Be curious. (1-3 hour prep time for this call)
4th interview - 2.5 hours total. 30 min is with an employee in the same role, where you are able to ask questions. They will be give feedback as well. 30 min break to study a case study they send you on the spot.
Last 1 hour is with Regional Sales VP where they will really hone in business acumen, understanding of the role and competency. (2-3 hour prep)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They are heavy on the qualities they are looking for you to have, be ready to talk yourself up on those.
They give you all prep info you will need, just a matter of if you want to commit the time.
Avoid this interview process at all costs. It felt like nothing more than a data gathering exercise rather than a genuine hiring effort. Every single round was conducted by a recruiter — I never spoke with an actual hiring manager or team member. A complete waste of time and effort. I would not recommend applying.
Interview Process is your usual 4 step interview process : with HR / Hiring Manager / Discovery call / VP call.
You want to ask for feedback at the end of all interview and apply them.

Question 1
Tell me what do you think you can improve during this interview ?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Gartner
Interview
It was okay. Two interviews, phone call and zoom. Zoom was a bit weird all very feedback approached. Had to do a role play of a cold call, which I do everyday to someone who has no cold calling experience so not sure that’s the best judge
