I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Washington, DC) in May 2022
Interview
Its a very tough and long process, I started interviewing around the Beginning of May 2022, I went thru 5 rounds of interviews and a panel interview.
The panel interview is tough, the group likes to do "I got ya " moments, the scenario for the federal team gives little to no information so your acting a scene out that is a set up for failure. Its almost like they want you to beg for the position, one of the hiring managers said he had to apply 3 different times to get hired.
Bottom Line: i spent 2 months time wasted on interviewing with this company, I finally got the call in June 2022 that they wouldn't extend an offer although according to the HR person everyone said i was a "great culture fit". take my advice if you really want to work here know the "value selling technique" like the back of your hand and ask 2nd and 3rd level questions
thankfully I was interviewing at others places while maintaining my current job, and i actually got a new job offer the day before the HR person called to say they were not choosing me.. so to anyone reading this please have plans B,C,D,and E. because it very difficult to be hired at Gartner.

Question 1
Most of the questions where about my behaviors and interactions with customers
Avoid this interview process at all costs. It felt like nothing more than a data gathering exercise rather than a genuine hiring effort. Every single round was conducted by a recruiter — I never spoke with an actual hiring manager or team member. A complete waste of time and effort. I would not recommend applying.
Interview Process is your usual 4 step interview process : with HR / Hiring Manager / Discovery call / VP call.
You want to ask for feedback at the end of all interview and apply them.

Tell me what do you think you can improve during this interview ?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Gartner
Interview
It was okay. Two interviews, phone call and zoom. Zoom was a bit weird all very feedback approached. Had to do a role play of a cold call, which I do everyday to someone who has no cold calling experience so not sure that’s the best judge
