I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gartner (Dallas, TX) in Aug 2022
Interview
Despite being remote first, vaccines are required. Very extensive 4 round process with a few role plays and a 2-3 hour panel interview after a case study in the final round. The first recruiter ended up completely ghosting me after I scheduled the first interview and never showed up, or responded to any LinkedIn messages. The second recruiter was friendly, easy to talk to and very insightful about the company and role. Overall, a very professional experience once I got in contact with a solid recruiter. Unfortunately, I ended up pulling my name out of consideration after the first interview due to the vaccine requirement. Pfizer and J&J are Gartner award winners, so I don't see their stance on vaccines changing anytime soon. Only writing this review because I know there are tons of people that are like me, avoiding anything and everything with the vaccine. I searched high and low before applying to see if there were vax requirements and didn't find anything on the Gartner job descriptions.

Question 1
Tell me about your experience.
What do you know about Gartner?
What's your average deal size?
Avoid this interview process at all costs. It felt like nothing more than a data gathering exercise rather than a genuine hiring effort. Every single round was conducted by a recruiter — I never spoke with an actual hiring manager or team member. A complete waste of time and effort. I would not recommend applying.
Interview Process is your usual 4 step interview process : with HR / Hiring Manager / Discovery call / VP call.
You want to ask for feedback at the end of all interview and apply them.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Gartner
Interview
It was okay. Two interviews, phone call and zoom. Zoom was a bit weird all very feedback approached. Had to do a role play of a cold call, which I do everyday to someone who has no cold calling experience so not sure that’s the best judge
