I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Gartner (Tampa, FL) in Sep 2022
Interview
Applied to AE role on August 30th. First Interview scheduled for September 7th: Recruiter did not show. Did not warn me in advance. Did not reach out and told me more than 24 hour later, "some odd reason my calendar all week has been blank" as the reason for missing our meeting. Rescheduled meeeting did not happen until September 19th. Less than 2 hours before meeting, recruiter reaches out last minute letting me know she won't make it yet again, but asked another recruiter to step in. Interview was fine, but the recruiter was not familiar with the Job Description and was only able to read back to me the job description. Advanced to 2 and 3rd interview, both were fine but largely redundant. Final panel interview occurred on October 20th. I still have not received a final decision, other than a veiled text message (after I tried reaching out) that is was unfortunate news but the recruiter wasn't up to delivering it because of a cold and cough. To summarize: 2 month process. Unprofessional and complete lack of respect for my time. I accept if I did not qualify, but the standard of excellence is a moving target at this company. Dodged a bullet maybe?
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Highlights: Unbiased research, study CIO's, and can you go through 2 months of rescheduling?
Avoid this interview process at all costs. It felt like nothing more than a data gathering exercise rather than a genuine hiring effort. Every single round was conducted by a recruiter — I never spoke with an actual hiring manager or team member. A complete waste of time and effort. I would not recommend applying.
Interview Process is your usual 4 step interview process : with HR / Hiring Manager / Discovery call / VP call.
You want to ask for feedback at the end of all interview and apply them.

First round HR screening. Second round detailed personality analysis interview. Third round manager interview to ask about experience and motivations. Last round panel interview with presentation to describe why you're a good fit. Strong emphasis on personality fit.
