I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (London, England) in Jul 2024
Interview
I would have thought Gartner was capable of intelligent conversation but I have just had an awful experience with a woman on 2pm 30/07/24. This interviewer could not comprehend that my notice period was immediate because I am self employed on the weekends, and this job is Monday to Friday. Whilst trying to explain this for the THIRD TIME, she responds, "I don't care what you do on the weekends, are you in full time work or not?" Well at that point I checked out because she was not listening to me what so ever and caught an attitude. She also thought that because I have been self employed for 10 years, this meant that I hadn't been employed for 10 years. I had to tell her three times that my last job in technology was 2 months ago. And she was still confused! I felt like I was banging my head against the wall. In fact, I would rather bang my head against the wall than talk to this woman again. If you have the same woman I did, you will recognise her right away.
They said they will call me back and I did not hear never again. I was disappointed. They mentioned good salaries in Spain - it looks they maintain the European band.
We had a zoom call to discuss role and experience, although I did not fit the role in their opinion I got al the feedback I could ask for in further conversations over text.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Gartner (Boston, MA) in Mar 2026

Very intensive, they really grill you using the "STARS method" so make sure you have plenty of examples of prior deals and how you overcame something to win them. Overall a good learning experience but probably a little over the top
