I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gatsby (CA) in Oct 2021
Interview
It was a delightful 4-step process. Everyone I interfaced with was super kind and friendly. I knew it was somewhere I'd love to work.
I started out by meeting the recruitment manager for some chat and then the VP of Engineering. Not long after that, I had a pair programming session with an engineer on the team I was joining and lastly, I worked on a PAID
take-home assessment, oh yes! PAID! And it took around 4hrs to complete.
The Recruitment Process was well thought out and simplified, definitely the best I've ever been In. Huge shoutout to the recruitment manager.

I got an interview via a referral. First a HR call, then an interview with an engineering manager, a take-home project, an interview with engineers about the project, and then another engineering manager interview.
For the take-home, you have a choice of a front-end or back-end project and you are paid to complete it!
Other questions were standard in getting an idea of my background and experience in the stack Gatsby uses.
