Gearbox Entertainment interview questions

I applied online and after some back and forth the the hiring manager, I was scheduled for a phone interview. When I got the call, I was told by the interviewer that the position was closed. So I feel like I wasted my time.

I had a phone interview which went beautifully and then was shortly invited to have an in-person interview at their headquarters in Frisco. I went in with a lot of confidence since I had a lot of experience and was overqualified. How ever, the interviewers barely asked me any questions and there were just awkward long silent pauses that I tried to fill which I feel just made me sound super awkward and quirky. When I started asking questions about the position, I feel they didn't even fully understand the job.
