The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Geek Squad (New York, NY)
Interview
Applied online, waited about a week and a half then received a phone call from Best Buy. The HR manager interviewed me over the phone for a couple of minutes and asked basic questions. Scheduled an in person interview. Met with the Geek squad manager and the manager followed through a packet of stapled paper with questions. The general manger came in when that was once done and then hit the question of “tell me about yourself”. Again followed a question packet but asked other questions that were not in the packet then concluding gave me a date to expect a response.

Question 1
How would you handle theft from an employee as the general manager? (A drink vs an expensive laptop)
Overall a pleasant experience. Questions were not difficult to answer. Mostly how one would handle different situations and your past experience. The interview did not take a long time and wait time for a response was reasonable.

Question 1
Name a time where you had a customer with an attitude and how did you resolve it?
Very laid back, what do I do for fun, have you worked with customers before, what was my availability like? Have you worked with windows computers before. The manager was nice, has been there for a while.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Geek Squad (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2022
Interview
Interview was fairly easy. Most of it was behavioral questions. Usually a 2-interview process. They may ask you limited technology questions but nothing more than consumer-level knowledge as a consultant.
