To begin, I'd like to let anyone know that unless you already work for another company that does work in crypto, do not waste your time with this company - because they will absolutely waste yours. First interview is with a member of the HR team. Basic company information, how the interview process works, what to expect moving forward. Expect this to last about 30 minutes, it is purely informational. Next step is a 30-45 minute call with a team lead. This will go over some of the more technical aspects of what they're looking for. You'll also be expected to go over your background and answer some light, high-level technical questions. The next step is a take-home project. You are given a simple API endpoint for trading 'jobcoins', and you have to build a coinmixer application - a way to anonymize coin transactions. It's very open-ended and you can take it in any direction you'd like. You typically have about a week to complete this. If you make it past this point, you can expect an on-site interview with some behavioral questions and pair-programming. Unfortunately I did not make it to the last step. I was repeatedly told to take my time with the take home problem, only to be told they 'ran out of jobs' 2 weeks after I submitted it. Nobody ever reviewed my take home. It was incredibly disrespectful and callous, and when I prompted them with their behavior they quit responding to my emails. You're not a human being to them, you're a variable in a money-making equation. Expect to be treated as such.
