Step 1) Interview with hiring team
- This went well, talked for quite a bit with them on the day to day duties and answered the typical background questions on my resume. They mentioned because it is a startup it would likely involve long work days (9-10 hours on some days)
Step 2) Take home assignment
- Fairly simple Python coding test
Step 3) Final round
- I was scheduled for a final round interview, but they called me before the day of the final interview and told me they were cancelling it and were moving on with another candidate they had talked to the previous week.
Overall: Poor experience and the company has some structural issues when it comes to hiring - they need to get better organized. Long wait times to hear feedback after interviews/assessments and last minute cancellations are not a good indication that the company is organized/structured well.
