Interview
Good interview process overall – includes both takehome assignment and online coding test. Company uses HackerRank platform for the technical coding assessment. Process was well-structured and fair for evaluating Backend Engineer candidates.
Based on my experience and Glassdoor reviews, the MoneyLion backend interview started with a HackerRank assessment containing one algorithm question and one SQL question. After passing, there was a TA call discussing my background, projects, and interest in backend development.
It was a screening call, followed by a hackerrank test, followed by an online technical interview which was leetcode + sql. Then in the final round was a technical round where they dive deeper into your knowledge of databases, oop and testing.
