I applied through other source. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Genentech in Mar 2021
Interview
I applied for the position via a direct email to the hiring manager in Feb-March 2021. Remote interviews were set up for the weeks after over multiple days. It was pretty much what I expected: over 2 weeks, I first spoke with the hiring manager, gave an hour department seminar then met with around 14 members of various teams, and finished with another meeting with the manager. I was offered the position verbally but I didn't receive anything formal for a few months pending some internal processes.
